Pounding the Pavement: Montreal Street Photography
On view from April 18, the exhibition presents a history of street photography as practiced in Montreal from the 19th century to the present day. Drawn primarily from the Museum’s Photography collection, it features nearly 400 photographs, recounting Montreal’s rich history through the eyes of established artists, little-known practices and non-dominant voices.
