Tonight at 7:00PM, watch “Beyond Bollywood”. Montreal-based Filmmaker Rahila Bootwala left India as a young woman, wanting to work in film but feeling disconnected from an industry dominated by men and beholden to their fantasies. In Beyond Bollywood, Rahila goes back to confront her past and to meet with the women who are reshaping the industry and challenging its stereotypes.

Music at the movies:

The FILMharmonic Orchestra, including 35 professional musicians, presents an exciting program under the direction of talented young conductor Francis Choinière. The ensemble is well-known at Place des Arts for its performances of iconic film music as well as popular classical repertoire.
